"Smiles from the Heart"

On Friday, February 3rd, 2012, Chandler Park Dental Care held our Second Annual Smiles From the Heart event.

This was a day of free dentistry that we provided to members of the Bowling Green community who were in need of dental care, yet, for one reason or another, unable to receive it. Many people without dental insurance live with tooth pain for extended periods of time because they can’t afford a trip to the dentist.

“We know that times are tough and many people put off important things like dental care,” says Dr. Jackson. “That’s why I have assembled a team of volunteer dentists, assistants and hygienists to give a totally free day of dental care.”

We saw another huge turnout this year. 266 patients received treatment during this event and we provided over $90,000 in free dentistry! This was accomplished because we had a fantastic team of around 70 volunteers who worked very hard to ensure the success of Smiles From the Heart.

We are again incredibly pleased with the success of this event. The warm response that we have received from the community and all of the individuals who we were able to provide relief to has been simply priceless. Thank you, Bowling Green!
